Prayer Team Leader
Prayer Team’s Purpose
The Prayer Team‘s purpose is to assist association churches in their quest to fulfill God’s decree that “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” It is our desire to co-labor with pastors, prayer leaders and laypersons in establishing or growing prayer initiatives in their church and the establishment of prayer coordinators in all churches. The Prayer Team will maintain on going prayer for pastors and churches in the area of kingdom needs. They will encourage people to pray for renewal and revival and for impacting lostness in Eastern North Carolina.
Prayer Team’s Mission
The Prayer Team’s mission is to offer assistance through consultations, communication of available resources, the sharing of prayer testimonies, and to cover SRBA churches in ongoing prayer.
Prayer Team’s Goal
The Prayer Team’s goal is to see all SRBA churches become houses of prayer, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit and take action to further the kingdom of God by impacting lostness!
Prayer Team’s Motto: Pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to move us into kingdom service.
“Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? Mark 11:17
9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened. 11 Now suppose one of you fathers is asked by his son for a fish; he will not give him a snake instead of a fish, will he? 12 Or if he is asked for an egg, he will not give him a scorpion, will he? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?” Luke 11:9-13
And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness. Acts 4:31
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19
